Understanding BMI (Body Mass Index)

BMI is a widely used screening tool that measures body fat based on height and weight. It helps assess whether a person has a healthy body weight for their height. While BMI is a useful indicator, it should be considered alongside other health factors.
BMI Calculation Formula:
Metric System: BMI = Weight (kg) ÷ Height² (m²)
Imperial System: BMI = (Weight (lbs) ÷ Height² (inches²)) × 703
